Helped me diversify my workout. Hitting different muscle groups.
So it looks clean. Setting up workouts is not hard, and I like that you can set time or reps However - that is where the good ends What is the most basic need in a dumbbell program? Probably tracking weight. I cannot seem to find it, but it is so fundamental I must be missing it. Also, there is no way to add your own exercises, so you cannot add something even as basic as push-ups or pull ups to your routine. A good foundation, but looking at the age of this app - if these basics have not been added yet, they probably never will be
I never authorized this charge.
Very basic exercises, should be free. Not worth $4.99
There is another app by the same developer with dumbbells, stretches, warmups, etc for free with the option to upgrade. It’s called the Virtual Trainer Pro All In One. Try that before you waste money here like I did on something they are offering for free... 🤦🏻♀️
For the money I thought there would be more options for different exercises. I keep looking for another page of exercises. Like where are upright rows just to name one basic exercise?
I purchased this app with excitement as I’ve used their kettlebell app. Only to my discovery, none of the videos work. I deleted the app and reinstalled it with not success. Very unfortunate I’ll like a refund
Best I’ve found.
This is my favorite workout app. I was sad to see it’s not on Apple TV yet. There are few dumbbell workout apps on there, and none as good as this one.
Crashes when trying to start
Just spent $5 on this app and none of the videos or graphics are appearing. How do I get my money back?
So easy to use at home or the gym!
Super friendly. Fun to work. Looking forward to expansions like different vocal trainers.
I love this app. I hate going to the gym, but I love to workout. This app allows me to get a crazy, awesome workout in my living room. The exercises are well illustrated, and there are so many options. Great workout app, plan and simple!
Good exercises!
It's a good app, but... - Voicing the next exercise would be helpful - Randomization would be helpful
This is such a great free app. I do the exercises on my iPad as a watch tv. Soooo great!
Like a good coach; just trying to keep up. Can feel the pain but goes by quick
Today was my first day but I loved it - built my own split body routines to mix with my running (trying to out Run Mother Nature ~ I'm old)! Anyway I loved the Tabata option!
Where is the Apple Health?
Provided the structure and motivation I needed
For someone that is out of shape, this is great to learn the basics and customize as needed.
Use a bunch of the apps together to make workouts; all are terrific.
Works perfect
I am using the app for a whole body workout routine. It's easy to use and navigate. I recommend this app for beginners or those returning to weightlifting.
Really nice apps, got all I need
Love the simplicity and effectiveness of this. Keeps me active daily with No excuses! Thanks for this great App!
Great, but Please support Apple Health
love it!
I was looking for a dumbbell based workout to help me stay focused. Look no further than this app. It rocks.
Hi, I've been using the app for a week and a half, and these are the things I see good and bad on it: Good: 1- You can set your training to be tabata, hit or standard. It also provides you with a timer and videos to keep form and focus while working out. 2- You can create your own trainings. 3- They provide a full body map so you can select excs based on group muscle. 4- They have an ok amount of excs included. Bad: 1- The app is good for a month or two. Just like on any gym you will need to rotate your program every month or so, and the amount of excs they offer is limited if you are looking to use the app long term. 2- If the developers invest on it and provide periodical updates with additional excs, then I think the app is a keeper but we will need to wait and see... I personally would like to see new updates instead of looking for a new app to purchase. Thanks!
I think this app is great for doing dumbbell workouts properly and recording them across other apps really helps me track my fitness.
First time using it, had a great workout. I didn't have to think about the next thing that I was doing. And I didn't have to worry that I was taking an excessive break. Great app!!!
Today was the first time using this app. Enjoyed it. Liked the customization. Hoping to build back some muscle!
I am barely starting out to workout again but with a set of Dumbbells and this application, it becomes a real breeze.
How do you make a dumbbell workout app with no way to keep track of what weight you used?? Great, you can build workouts and keep track of a score, but without the simple concept of tracking your actual weight this app is useless
Easy to use and understand.
Easy to use easy to set up hard to do but worth it
Really great app
Never had the follow through with my home work outs, but with this it feels like a personal trainer is there pushing me. And I'm seeing great results.
First day using it, and I worked up a sweat. I am trying to shed some pounds I packed on over the years and gain some muscle back as well. Overall, it has a clean, professional-looking interface and it is certainly customizable. The biggest downfall for the novice is the lack of pre-designed workout sessions. But, it does have a filter that allows you to select a body area of focus, and it displays the appropriate exercises for you to add to the workout. So, the lack of a pre-fab workout shouldn't dissuade you from trying the app. Additionally, I didn't see any option to add my own exercises, but it's not a huge issue to me.
I love the Tabata option. I can gain and lean out! The Tabata is a great filler in between heavy days and I can use it for rest weeks. Great program guys!
Many good exercises but only 2 workout routines supplied. Please add more whether they be full body or body part focused. Thanks.
I have no time for Gym, but these apps (VT's) leave me without excuses.
Great app
Good, complete and easy to use
Great app when you need a quick workout!!!
Kinda skimpy, basic app -- some dumbbell exercise info and a 200 rep challenge that doesn't seem to change. Was hoping for different workouts to do daily to mix it up, but nope. Lame. You can just do an Internet search for dumbbell workouts and save your few bucks. Not really inspiring to me. Next please.
This is just the app that I was looking for. Can't workout at gyms so I needed something for home workouts. Just what I need!
